Far B Records is a not-for-profit independent record label founded in 2024 by Daniel Roversi in New York City. Established with a deep commitment to equity and artistic discovery, the label seeks to shine light over the work of underprivileged and underrepresented classical composers from around the world. With an ethos rooted in social justice, cultural preservation, and artistic integrity, Far B Records endeavors to expand the classical canon by championing voices historically marginalized by geography, economics, and systemic bias. Through carefully curated recordings the label serves as both a platform and an advocate, amplifying the unheard, and enriching the global narrative of classical music. At its core, Far B Records is a labor of love, a belief that the classical tradition is not static, but ever-evolving, enriched by the diverse cultural expressions too often left at its margins, the label seeks to reimagine what classical music becomes when more of the world is allowed to speak.

Enlaces: The Music of Carlos Alberto Ocando, is Far B’s first release. Carlos’ music evokes spaces and emotions within listeners' inner worlds, at moments overstimulating, sparse at others, like life the music is in constant movement navigating its binary nature, this interplay of full and empty, consonance and dissonance, sound and space, innerself and the outside world, now and next, creating an organic experience that allows listeners to find their own meanings as the sonic narrative progresses.

All musicians in this recording are venezuelan musicians. Carmen Borregales (Clarinet), Richard Arellano Paez (Guitar), Eva Moreno (Flute), Claudio Olivera (Piano), and Leonor Falcón (Viola). The album was recorded in NY USA, Caracas VZLA, Barcelona SP between February and July 2024.
